ICC forms committee to resolve PCB, BCCI conflict

International Cricket Council (ICC) formed a three-member conflict resolution committee to resolve the conflict between Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Board of Cricket Control India (BCCI).

The conflict resolution committee is comprised of Michael Beloff QC, Jan Paulsson and Annabelle Bennett, which will conduct a three-day hearing in Dubai to arbitrate in its legal dispute between the two arch-rivals.

The dates of the hearing will be communicated to all the concerned parties later and the verdict of the hearing will be made public.

Pakistan Cricket Board sent ICC a notice in November 2017 to form a conflict resolution committee to adjudicate the matter between them and the BCCI.

The notice was sent to the ICC, after BCCI did not respond to PCB’s $60 million notice of dispute for not entertaining the signed MoU between them and the neighbouring board regarding playing eight bilateral series from 2015 to 2022.
