ICC officials to attend Pakistan and West Indies T20I series

KARACHI: After successfully hosting the mega event of Pakistan Super League 2018’s final at the National Stadium Karachi, the reigning T20I champions, West Indies are all set to play at the historical venue of NSK.

Earlier, when World XI toured Pakistan to play a three-match T20I series at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, which was also attended by the ICC officials.

Dawn News reported that similar to the World XI series, the ICC officials will witness the live action at the National Stadium Karachi.

“The ICC has appointed David Boon as match referee for the three T20 Internationals against the West Indies. ICC general manager cricket, Geoff Allardice, and ICC senior manager umpires and referees, Adrian Griffith, will also be in Karachi for the series,” a reliable source revealed.

The three-match T20I series between the hosts and the West Indies, who are visiting the country after 12 years, will commence from April 1st and it will be concluded on April 3rd.

Tickets go on sale

The tickets for the three games are available for sale online with reduced prices.

A general enclosure ticket costs Rs 500, whereas first class, premium and VIP tickets are priced at Rs 1,000 and 2,000, Rs 4,000 and Rs 6,000 respectively.
