The International Cricket Council (ICC) is to review the security arrangements made for the big finale of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2017 in Lahore on March 5.
ICC spokesman talked to Dawn News and confirmed that the ICC will give an update on security arrangements for PSLs final in the next ICC meeting.
“Sean Norris, the ICC Security Manager, attended the final in Lahore. The next ICC board meeting is scheduled from April 23-27 where an update on those security arrangements will be provided to the member board with an advice on future steps,” the ICC spokesman said.
Sources further confirmed Dawn News that the grand finale of PSL was also attended by security managers of other cricket boards as well, which include England, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Australia and they will submit their reports.
Furthermore, it has also been learned that Pakistan Cricket Board is in contact with West Indies, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh to host a bilateral series in the country.
