ICC to hear PCB’s case against BCCI on October 1


The International Cricket Council (ICC) are set to hear the case of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) against Board of Control in India (BCCI) for the damage caused due to their refusal to play bilateral series, from October 1-3 in Dubai.

The Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan, Khwaja Ahmad Hosain, Alexandros Panayides of Clifford Chance, London, Lawyers from Clifford Chance, London will represent the delegation of Pakistan in the hearing.

The PCB’s GM legal advisor, Salman Naseer will also attend the all-important hearing in the headquarter of the ICC.

The Dispute Panel hearing the matter will contain Michael Beloff QC, Chairperson, Jan Paulsson Annabelle Bennett.

It is pertinent to mention here that the PCB filed the $ 70 million compensation case against BCCI claiming that a huge loss cost to them as India refused to play the six bilateral series according to the Memorandum of Understand (MoU) out of which four were to be hosted by Pakistan.
