Dubai: The International Cricket Council (ICC) wants cricket fans to create history by attending the final of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup final on March 20th at MCG in Melbourne.
ICC released a video on social media platforms in which stories of different female athletes were showcased for their brilliant exhibitions in the different fields of sports all over the globe.
History shows sport has the power to smash through boundaries and change society.

The video displays tennis champion Billie Jean King, the first captain of the Afghanistan women’s football team Khalida Popal and Australian cricket legend Belinda Clark who in the history of the game scored double-hundred in ODI cricket.
As the final will be played on international Women’s day, ICC is seeking to break the record attendance at women sporting fixture at the world’s largest cricket stadium, MCG.
The final of the 1999 FIFA Women’s World Cup in the USA recorded the highest attendance which is 90,185.
The women’s mega-event is starting from February 21 with Australia and India face each other in the opening fixture.
It must be noted that Pakistan women’s team will start their campaign on February 26 against West Indies in the capital of Australia, Canberra.
