The security expert of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Reg Dickason appreciated the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for the preparations for Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches in Karachi.
“The PCB is working hard to make this event successful and hopefully the things will fall rightly for them ahead,” said Dickason while talking to the ARY News at National Stadium.
He credited PSL for the revival of international cricket in Pakistan and said that more international teams will travel to the country where people crazily follow cricket.
“I am hopeful that international teams will come to Karachi and the people here will see top players playing at their home ground,” said Dickason who overviewed the preparations in the National Stadium ahead of the first contest of PSL’s Pakistan leg between Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United.
It is pertinent to mention here that Dickason along with a six-member ICC’s security expert team is in Karachi to watch PSL matches. Dickason, last year gave the green signal to the PCB for staging PSL’s final in Karachi after getting satisfied with the security arrangements.
Total three matches of PSL 3 took place in Pakistan. Lahore hosted two eliminators while Karachi staged grand finale of the extravaganza. Islamabad United lifted the coveted trophy in Karachi and became the champion for the second time.
