‘If Windies is coming to Pakistan then why not Australia’ says Shaniera Akram


Shaneria Akram– wife of Pakistan’s former pacer and the president of Karachi Kings Wasim Akram, asked other international teams to tour Pakistan as it is a safe place where all sporting activities can take place without any security problem.

While talking to ARY Sports, Shaniera said that Pakistan provides the best environment for cricket and the people have immense love for this game.

“I am overwhelmed to see these young girls cheering for their team. Look at their passion and craze which is demanding some more international cricket scene in the grounds of our country,” said Sheneria while appreciating young school girls who were brought to witness this historic event.

To a query about Australian cricket team’s tour to Pakistan, she said that not only Australia but every other team should think of visiting Pakistan to play cricket.

“If Windies is coming then why not Australia,” she said.

On the other hand, Shaniera also excited for the upcoming fourth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) where she is supporting Karachi Kings.

“I am extremely excited for the PSL and I hope my team Karachi Kings will perform well in the league,” said Shaniera who will be seen with Karachi Kings as the president in the upcoming mega event.
