London: Shahid Afridi says he’s available for England tour in case the team needs him.

In an interview with BBC he said that Pakistan team selectors want to give a chance to young players therefore he’s kept himself away from the team. This is indeed good for the selection committee to try out young players to gauge their performance.

Shahid Afridi said he’s happy to focus on County cricket but if the country needs him for the England tour he will be available.

It may be noted that Shahid Afridi is in Britain for the Natwest T20 blast and will be representing Hampshire County for the first time after 2011 on Friday.
