I’ll make my farewell match memorable says ‘Shahid Afridi’

during the International Twenty20 match between New Zealand and Pakistan at Seddon Park on January 17, 2016 in Hamilton, New Zealand.

Wellington: The National T20 captain Shahid Afridi says he wants to win the farewell match at New Zealand making it memorable.

In an interview before the last 3rd OD match against NZ, Shahid Afridi said its always wonderful to play on New Zealand pitches, the grounds are very nice and the crowd is extremely supportive. He said I want to make my last match memorable with my all round performance and a win against New Zealand.

Shahid Afridi showed disappointment over Muhammad Amir and Umar Gul’s performance in the 2nd T20 match, both have made a comeback after quite some time and they need to maintain their rhythm. He said as long as you don’t play according to a plan you can’t win. The way New Zealand batsmen played, had the target been 200 runs even then the Kiwi batsmen could have made it.

On the other end sources say, two changes are expected in the National team for the deciding ODI match at Wellington. Muhammad Rizwan and Anwar Ali are expected to replace Sohaib Maqsood and Umar Gul.
