The Kings will take on Peshawar Zalmi at Dubai on Friday for the third PSL 2017 playoff which will decide who plays Quetta Gladiators at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on Monday.
Bopara, 31, has featured in 120 ODIs and 38 T20Is for the Three Lions. The crafty all-rounder has also represented numerous T20 outfits around the world including Indian Premier League’s Kings XI Punjab and Australia’s Big Bash’s Sydney Sixers.
There were major doubts about the participation of foreign players in the final after Quetta Gladiators, one of the finalists, lost the services of England stars Kevin Pietersen, Luke Wright and Tymal Mills after Gaddafi Stadium was confirmed as the venue.
The Gladiators also had to let go of South African batsman Rilee Russouw and New Zealand all-rounder Nathan McCullum.
