India were 116-4 at tea in their second innings on the third day of the fourth and final Test against South Africa in New Delhi on Saturday.
Skipper Virat Kohli (39) and Ajinkya Rahane (22) were the not out batsmen at the crease.
India, who bowled out the top-ranked tourists for 121 after making 334, lead by 329 runs with six wickets in hand.
India have already sealed the four-match series after winning the first and third Tests in Mohali and Nagpur. The second Test in Bangalore was washed out after the first day’s play.
