Indian team arrives in Pakistan to participate in Kabaddi World Cup


Lahore: Indian Kabaddi team has arrived in Pakistan to participate in the Kabaddi World Cup starting from February 9. The arch-rivals reached Lahore via Wagah Border.

The Indian team will play its first match against Germany on February 10 of the tournament. India are placed with Iran, Sierra Leone, England, and the USA in Group A. Home team Pakistan, Canada, Kenya, Australia, and Azerbaijan are in Group B.

Cities including Lahore, Faisalabad, Nankana Sahib, and Gujrat are hosting the event. The event to kick off with an opening ceremony in Lahore.

It must be noted here that the last three seasons of the Kabaddi World Cup has won by India in 2004, 2007 and 2016 respectively.
