India refuses to include Pakistani players in Asia XI against World XI

India has once again refused to play with or along with Pakistan as no players from the green shirts will be the part of Asia XI squad against World XI for two T20 matches which are scheduled in March 2020 in Bangladesh.

BCCI Joint Secretary Jayesh George has cleared the news that the situation like that will not appear, as Pakistan players will not be invited to be part of Asia XI. BCCI President Sourav Ganguly will decide the five Indian players for the matches.

“No players from Pakistan in Asia XI, this is what the scenario is of both countries coming together or picking one over the other. BCCI president Sourav Ganguly will decide the five players who will be a part of the Asia XI,” Jayesh George said.

The matches are organized by Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to celebrate the birth anniversary of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the founder of Bangladesh and the matches are being given the international status too.
