The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) assured to support former cricketer Mohammad Nazir in his treatment, ARY News reported on Saturday.
Nazir, commonly known as Nazir Jr, got injured in a traffic accident and currently is under treatment at Services Hospital in Lahore. The former Test cricket is admitted in ICU due to the critical situation.
A PCB’s spokesperson told ARY News that the board is keen towards Nazir’s treatment and they are standing behind his family in hard times.
“We have assured Nazir’s family for all-out support during his treatment in Lahore,” PCB’s spokesperson said.
Nazir played 14 Tests and four ODIs for Pakistan. He has 134 runs and 34 wickets in the longer format of the game. In 180 First-Class games, Nazir scored 4242 runs and took 829 wickets. The 73-years-old is also a Test umpire.
