Thirteen international fighters and coaches from different countries landed in Lahore today as Pakistan’s first ever international mixed martial arts event is all set to kick-off from October 27th at Nishtar Park Sports Complex, Lahore.
It will be a historical event for Pakistan’s martial artists as they will take on the international fighters for the first time in their homeland.
Partner of Brave Pakistan Dewan Adil while talking to ARY said, “Our first priority is to show the softer image of Pakistan and provide a platform to the youth through such events.”
Uloomi Karim Shaheen, the co-main eventer of Brave 17 MMA event, said, “Our aim is to educate people more about mixed martial arts”.
The International fighters and coaches have arrived Pakistan by the efforts of CEO ARY Digital Networks and Chairman of Brave Pakistan Ltd Mr Salman Iqbal, who has been working for the promotion of sports in the country.
The national and international athletes will interact with fans and will have ceremonial face-off after the weigh-ins.
