World’s number 10 squash player, Karim Abdel Gawad will contest in top-seed in the Pakistan Open Squash Championship penciled in from November 28 to December 2 in Karachi.
Renowned squash players from England, America, Spain and 10 other countries will be accompanied by local professionals who will compete in top-eight seeds.
Diego Elias of Peru will contest in second seed while Abdullah Mohammed from Egypt will compete in the third seed.
Tayyab Aslam, Ahsan Khan, Noman Khan, and many other renowned squash players will represent Pakistan in the mega event.
A wealthy prize money of US$ 53,000 will be given to the winning team as the tournament will take place in Karachi after a long time.
According to Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF), the tournament’s preparations are in full swing and it will amuse the squash fans across from the country.
“We have worked hard to stage this event in a best possible way, hopefully, the event will match International class,” PSF’s officials said.
