Inzamam hopes high for Pakistan cricket

Pakistan’s chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq has high hopes for Pakistan cricket as he believes that cricket will improve in Imran Khan tenure as PM.

While talking to media in Lahore, Inzamam said, “The cricketing standards of Pakistan should step up after Imran Khan’s election as prime minister,”.

The chief selector believes that Pakistan will perform well in Asia Cup 2018 and will carry their good form and winning momentum throughout the tournament.

Pakistan will play its first match on September 16 where they’ll take on the Asia Cup qualifiers winner, after that, they will meet their arch-rival India on September 19.

The top two teams from the group A and B will advance to the super four stage, most probably Pakistan and India will go head to head again in the super four stage.
