Inter Provincial Coordination (IPC) minister, Riaz Hussain Pirzada, is looking forward to welcome international teams in the country.

Talking about the expected tour of the West Indies cricket team in the country and hosting Pakistan Super League (PSL) final in Lahore, Pirzada stated that it will be a positive sign for Pakistan.

“International sports action is already coming to Pakistan and hosting Davis Cup after so long is its proof,” said the minister.

“Davis Cup security delegation has agreed with the security plan presented by Islamabad Police, so it is a big step forward,” he added.

Pirzada seems positive for the West Indies tour of Pakistan and called the men from Caribbean ‘fearless’.

“West Indies cricketers play fearlessly all over the world,” he said.

“I am hopeful that West Indies will definitely tour Pakistan and if they visit here, it will open doors for other international teams as well.”
