Iram Javed (77) and Javeria Rauf (74) set a solid platform for PCB Blasters to beat PCB Challengers by 66 runs in their match of the Triangular One Day Women’s Cricket Championship on Monday.
Both the batswomen played magnificently to put the opponent under pressure. The rest of the work was done by the bowlers as they bowled out PCB Challengers on 171 runs while chasing 238.
PCB Blasters while batting first put a lengthy total on the scoreboard with the likes of Iram and Javeria. Iram smashed six boundaries and three sixes while Javeria with eight fours completed her knock. Aliya Riaz scored 34 runs laced with three boundaries.
Anam Amin took a wicket for PCB Challengers conceding 25 runs.
PCB Challengers in reply managed to reach just 171 runs. Nahid Khan scored 66 runs for them. Sadia Iqbal and Diana Baig took two wickets each for the winning side.
