Islamabad United’s owner praises ARY for ‘Maidaan Sajan Hai’ campaign


The owner of Islamabad United Ali Naqvi applauded ARY network for their initiative to launch a campaign ‘Maidaan Sajan Hai’ with an aim to fill the stadiums in the UAE during the world’s one of the most exciting league, the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Naqvi through his official Twitter account revealed that the encouraging campaign is a joint effort of all the franchises of the PSL to make the only cricketing league of Pakistan bigger and better.

“‘Maidan Sajana hai’ is a joint effort by all franchises to take PSL to the next level,” he said.

Naqvi said that this campaign will indeed help the PCB in bringing more crowd during the UAE leg of the PSL. “Let’s all get involved more & fill the stadiums in all the 5 cities,” said Naqvi who said a special thanks to the ARY for leading the campaign from the front.

Earlier, Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry also had all praises for ARY for staging such an enthusiastic campaign in a bid to make the PSL more successful.

“PSL is something which unites people in Pakistan on one platform and I hope it will keep on spreading happiness,” said Chaudhry while becoming a part of ‘Maidaan Sajan Hai’ campaign in Dubai.

Chaudhry also applauded the efforts of ARY in the betterment of not only cricket but every sport in Pakistan. “ARY always comes forward to work for sports in Pakistan,” he said.

It is pertinent to mention here that the fourth edition of the PSL will kick off from February 14 in Dubai with defending champions Islamabad United taking on Lahore Qalandars. Lahore and Karachi are lined up to host three and five matches of the league respectively.
