Pakistan, which has produced some of the most prolific squash players of the world, has not hosted a single international event of the sport in the past two years.
Pakistan’s squash legend, Jansher Khan believes that the ban on Pakistan for holding international squash events is unjustified on Pakistan and he sees an Indian lobby behind it.

Khan wants an immediate revival of international squash in Pakistan as the country has a huge contribution in the sport.
“Relationship between Pakistan and International squash are sine qua non, as Pakistan had several big names in international squash, who had achieved many milestones globally,” Dawn News quoted Jansher Khan.
Recently, international squash body refused to give hosting of an international event to Pakistan citing security reasons. To give a positive message to the association, Pakistan hosted two non-ranking events in the year one against World V and the other against Egypt.
To give a positive message to the association, Pakistan hosted two non-ranking events this the year, one against World V and the other against Egypt.
The events were successful as top players of the squash fraternity participated in the campaign and they enjoyed their time in Pakistan.
“World No 2, world No 15 and several other top-ranked players not only participated in recently-concluded two non-ranking events, but they also enjoyed here. I don’t think why the PSA think otherwise,” he said.
