Squash legend, Jahangir Khan is disappointed with Pakistani players’ performance in the Pakistan Open International Men’s Squash Championship as none of them could even qualify for the quarter-final.

“I am disappointed that none of the Pakistani players could even reach the quarter-final stage in the Pakistan Open International Men’s Squash Championship,” said Jahangir Khan.

The greatest squash player of all time, who maintained an unbeaten streak of 555 matches, recalled that Pakistani players once ruled the squash courts around the world, but things have changed now.

“Players get breakthrough in such big tournaments. They need to look into their mistakes and rectify them,” he added.

However, the living legend, Jahangir Khan is happy to see Pakistan Open International Men’s Squash Championship being played once again. He is hopeful that similar to Islamabad, other cities of Pakistan will also host international squash events in 2018.

He is also glad to see international stars participating in the squash tournament that is hosted by Pakistan.

The semi-finals of the ongoing squash event will be played on Thursday.
