Lahore: Pakistan cricketer’s high performance training camp also continued on Tuesday. The players continued working to brush their skills at the National Cricket Academy, Lahore. Jahid Ali who was dropped from the initial 31 member list has been asked to join upon the media’s pressure. Despite his satisfactory performance with the A-team in England, the selectors completely ignored him. It’s been learnt that Shoaib Malik is back after playing the Caribbean league.

The Director Academies Mudassar Nazar disclosed that the all-rounder will be reporting to the camp on Friday whereas Ammad Wasim will be joining later. Former cricketer Aqib Jawed will be reaching Pakistan in a couple of days and will start training the players. He said additional former players will be brought in at NCA to train players in various departments. Mudassar said “the objective of high performance camp is to build the physical and technical capacity of our players. We are adopting the video-analysis to overcome the players weaknesses observed during the course of training. Along with Net-practice we are also working on improving our fielding and cricket skills.”
