James Anderson completes 1000 First-class wickets


KARACHI: England’s pacer James Anderson has completed 1000 First-class wickets, picking up five wickets in the County Championship game on Monday. 

While representing Lancashire against Kent, Anderson picked up five wickets in seven overs conceding just three runs to reduce opponents to 19-5. It was his 51st fifer in FC cricket.

It must be noted here that Anderson represented England in 162 Tests and took 617 wickets at an average of 26.67.
