Pakistan’s former squash player and legendary player Jansher Khan believes that if squash is to resurface in Pakistan the players need to focus on their physical fitness because that is how they will competitive at the international level.
“Players should also see to improve their physical fitness themselves as the coach and trainers already work very hard with them,” he told APP.
Jansher Khan who holds the record of winning World Opne 8 times and British Open 6 times was a quality player of his time and he along with Jehangir Khan helped Pakistan reign supreme on the international level to for almost 50 years. In total Jansher won 99 professional titles which is a staggering achievement.
Jansher praised Pakistan Squash Federation’s President Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman for his devoted efforts in reviving and promoting the game in the country.
“PSF President has made academies in Islamabad and Peshawar which is very good and useful for the upcoming talent,” he said.
