Javeria Khan scored an impressive and unbeaten 133-run knock to help Pakistan women cricket team record their third consecutive victory against Sri Lanka in the three-match ODI series, which concluded on Tuesday in Sharjah.
Chasing a competitive total of 242 runs, opener Javeria Khan kept Pakistan in command playing a prolific 133-run unbeaten inning. She smashed 12 boundaries. Pakistan reached the victory total easily with seven wickets in hand in 47.2 overs. Skipper Sana Mir also batted well scoring unconquered 51-run knock.
HASD Siriwardene took two wickets as Sri Lanka tried nine bowlers during the inning with little success.
Earlier, Sri Lankan women batted first and scored 242-5 in allotted 50 overs. Captain AC Jayangani batted well for the side and fell short of only a single run to complete her century. HASD Siriwardene played a quick and unbeaten 28-ball 39 runs.
Pakistan also tried seven bowlers during the match with Sana Mir and Asmavia Iqbal capturing two wickets each.
