Karachi: Former South African player and renowned commentator Jonty Rhodes revealed that he has always loved being in Pakistan.
One of the world’s best fielders of his time is part of the star-studded commentary panel for Pakistan Super League (PSL) season five and is eager to watch quality cricket in this edition.
“Pakistan is a fascinating country and when you talk about cricket, Pakistani fans make every experience extremely memorable. I have always loved being in Pakistan and I certainly look forward to a very entertaining PSL this year,” the 50-year-old said.
“There are some very talented star players who will be in action and that means we will get to see quality cricket,” he added.
Alan Wilkins, a renowned presenter and an integral part of PSL panel since 2016 feels honored to be part of the competition this time too.
“It has been an absolute honor for me to remain associated with PSL since its very first game back in 2016 and I am certainly looking forward to being in Pakistan this year for the fifth edition,” he said
“This is a special occasion for everyone associated with PSL and I feel lucky that I will be a part of this historic event,” Alan added.
Former New Zealand seamer Danny Morrison is excited as the PSL is taking place in Pakistan completely.
“These are exciting times for Pakistan cricket with all 34 HBL PSL games taking place in Pakistan. The quality of broadcast in HBL PSL has been a hallmark over the years and it is just lovely to be involved in such a high-quality production once again,” he said.
It must be noted that for this edition, a panel of 16 members was announced by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). For the first time in history, local fans can listen to the action in Urdu as well.
