Pakistan’s left arm pacer Junaid Khan has brushed aside any such claims of him moving to England after it was earlier reported that the fast bowler was thinking about switching to England cricket team as he was continuously ignored by the Pakistan Cricket Board and it’s selection committee.

Junaid expressed his disappointment over such reports and said that although he was dejected at not being selected for the upcoming England test series but that does not mean he is considering moving to England.

“There is no truth in any such claim,” he asserted while talking to Dawn.

Junaid Khan said, “Lancashire was interested to sign him again but he didn’t sign the contract because he was confident that his name will be include in the Test squad touring England.”

The fast bowler added he has done his part by performing consistently but it is quite sad to see him not being selected by the newly appointed selection committee headed by Inzamam-ul-Haq who said that the fast bowler was yet to regain full rhythm.

“I don’t know what else I will have to do to make a comeback in the national side, as I have already performed well in the PSL and Pakistan A team,” he maintained.
