K-Electric Football Club (KEFC) defeated Asia Ghee Mills FC by 2-0 to clinch the All Pakistan Kashmir Solidarity Football Tournament on Friday.
Murtaza Hussain and Noman from KE scored a goal each for their team to make them dominant throughout in the final contest.
K-E’s skipper Muhammad Rasool received the “Best Player of the Tournament” award for his prominent performance in the tournament.
“It was a special feeling to win this mega event. I am happy with my personal performance in the tournament. This win obviously is for Kashmir and the people there,” he said.
Teams from all over Pakistan including WAPDA (Lahore), Ashraf Sugar Mills, Afghan Football Club (FC), AGM FC, Crescent Mills FC, DFA Layyah, and AatishTaank FC participated in the extravaganza.
