Karachi to host four PSL matches

Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Najam Sethi met the Chief Minister Sindh, Murad Ali Shah where they agreed to host four PSL 2018 matches in the city.

Karachi has been deprived of international cricket even after the initial revival of it. Lahore hosted a short series against Zimbabwe in 2015, final of PSL 2017 and three-match T20 series against the World XI recently.

Sri Lankan team was attacked by terrorists in 2009 in Lahore, which took international cricket away from Pakistan that left cricket stadiums vacant in the country.

Pakistan Super League has been extremely successful since its inaugural edition in 2016, which took place in the UAE and was won by Islamabad United.

PCB hosted the final of the second edition in Lahore in a bid to revive international cricket in the country, which featured players like Darren Sammy, Chris Jordan, and other significant international cricketers.
