Karachi: Karachi Kings’ talented all-rounder Amir Yamin is highly looking forward to leading his team from the front in the upcoming fifth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Yamin talked about his preparations for PSL 5 while talking exclusively to ARY Sports. He aims high performances in the league and wants to make a strong mark for his team.
“Obviously, PSL is a big stage and performing here will take any player on top as it has a huge following around the world. I am focused to deliver strongly for my team and try to contribute worthy in victories,” he said.
The right-arm clever medium-pacer has worked really hard for the event and kept on updating his fans with videos of him while training throughout the whole year. “I think I have worked really hard for this event, even more than the last couple of seasons. I am confident my hard work will not go in vain,” Yamin maintained.
Hailed from Multan, Amir is excited to play in front of the home crowd as his home town is also set to host four matches of the league. “Excitement is at its peak and I think everyone is desperately waiting for February 20. We are also very positive and happy that the whole league will be played in Pakistan for the first time,” he shared.
The young cricketer also gave a message to Kings’ fans and asked them to come to the stadium in numbers to support their own team. “My only message for fans is to support Karachi Kings, support this league and, in the end, support Pakistan,” he concluded.
