The popular franchise of Pakistan Super League (PSL), Karachi Kings, has become the title sponsor for Dubai Super League (DSL), scheduled to start from September 20 in the UAE.
The tournament aims to highlight UAE’s local talent and a total of 22 teams will participate in the mega event.
The CEO of Karachi Kings Tariq Wasi and Umar Hayat of Wombats Cricket Club met in Dubai to sign a contract.
Hayat while talking to the ARY News on the occasion praised ARY Group for promoting sports around the world. “ARY brings values and we are proud to associate DSL with those values,” Hayat highlighted.
He said that it is an amateur cricket which will provide a platform to the players to grow their skills. “It is a great opportunity for those players who have risen from Grass Roots,” he said.
“This tournament will groom players and these players will represent Pakistan or UAE in future,” Hayat added.
