KARACHI: Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) franchise Karachi Kings signed a media partnership deal with Pakistan Television (PTV) Sports, ARY News reported on Saturday.
As a part of this collaboration, PTV Sports will serve as official channel for Karachi Kings and will promote the franchise’s activities, players and events.
Karachi Kings will also promote PTV Sports in all its activities.
“We are entering into this coordination not for commercial purposes but to enhance the soft image of Pakistan,” Dr Nauman Niaz, head of PTV Sports, said.
“We share the passion of cricket with the Karachi Kings management and will be more than willing to play our part in bringing the international cricket back to the grounds of Pakistan.”

Speaking on the occasion, Tariq Wasi, chief executive officer of Karachi Kings, said: “Time and again we have reiterated our commitment to cricket as not only a sport but one of our efforts to build a better image of Pakistan.” Karachi Kings and PTV Sports share ambition to put in efforts to promote the game of cricket and excite the Pakistani youth towards this positive activity.
OFFICIAL APPAREL LINE LAUNCHED
Karachi Kings has also launched its official apparel line with a leading fashion brand, Cotton & Cotton, in a ceremony held at Dolmen Mall in Karachi’s Clifton area. Kings’ official apparel line include a range of products such as t-shirts, polo shirts, kurtis (for ladies), jackets, caps, customised wallets, belts, ties and a lot more.
Cotton & Cotton will soon be releasing Karachi Kings replica PSL jerseys, along with other products.
