Popular Karachi Kings’ s allrounder Shahid Afridi has been advised a two-day rest after his MRI scan suggests no serious injury, said team official
The 38-year-old was not on the name sheet for the match against Multan Sultans in Sharjah on Friday after feeling pain in his right knee.
The match was rained off and gave one point each to both the teams.
“Afridi had a scan on his right knee which showed swelling in the right leg muscle around the knee area. Further tests will clear everything. he has been advised two days rest,” said Karachi Kings media manager.
Afridi will face a race against time to get fit for Sunday’s game against Islamabad United. He is Karachi Kings’s top wicket-taker with six.
