LONDON: English woman fast bowler Kate Cross takes a remarkable eight-wicket haul in a men’s game of Central Lancashire League.
She had the figures of 8-47 to help Heywood Cricket Club’s first XI dismiss Unsworth for 121.
Kate Cross is the leading wicket taker in the cricket league with 14 dismissals to her name. Earlier, she had taken 3-49 against Clifton Cricket Club.
Bobby Cross, brother of Kate, was the top scorer with 63 runs as the side won the match by six wickets.
Former English left arm spinner congratulated Cross on Twitter for her performance in the match.
She became the first female to perform in the 123-year-history of Central Lancashire League.
