WATCH: Khanewal Cricket stadium turns into vegetable farm


KHANEWAL: Instead of cricketers, Khanewal Cricket Stadium has become a hub of growing vegetables, ARY News reported. 

According to the details, a state-of-the-art cricket stadium in Khanewal has been given to farmers to grow vegetables such as chili and Pumpkin.

Millions of rupees were spent on this stadium, which is under the control of the district government, but it isn’t completed as of yet. The construction of the stadium was started in 2015. The stadium has a proper ground, pavilion, and practice area, all are now under the control of farmers to grow vegetables.

Famous former Test cricketers Rao Iftikhar Anjum and Shabbir Ahmed belong to Khanewal.
