KHULNA: Pakistani opener Mohammad Hafeez struck a half century as Pakistan are batting at 123/1 against Bangladesh on the second day of the first test match, ARYSports.tv reports on Wednesday.
Mohammad Hafeez scored 50 from 67 balls which included five boundaries and a six.
Debutant Sami Aslam scored 20 runs from 36 balls with the help two fours and a six before he was caught from the bowling of Tajiul Islam.
Hafeez and one day captain Azhar Ali score a 50 run partnership as well. The ODI captain is at the crease unbeaten at 26 runs while the off spinner is not out at 76 runs.
Earlier, Bangladesh were all out for 332 runs just after lunch having started the second day’s proceedings at 236/4.
Wahab Riaz and Yasir Shah took three wickets each while Mohammad Hafeez and Zulfiqar Babar grabbed two wickets as well.
