KHULNA: Bangladesh openers Tamim Iqbal and Imrul Kayes scored centuries as the side ended the fourth day’s proceedings at 273/0 here at Khulna, ARYSports.tv reports.
Tamim Iqbal scored his century from 123 balls which comprised of 11 boundaries and three sixes while Imrul Kayes raised his bat for a ton after 153 balls which included 11 fours and three sixes as well.
Pakistan started the fourth day at 537/5 with Asad Shafiq and Sarfraz Ahmed at the crease. However, the side was back in the pavilion for 628 runs on the board.
Spinner Taijul Islam grabbed six wickets in the innings white Shuvagta Hom took two wickets. Shakib Al Hasan and Mohammad Shahid also shared one wicket each.
Iqbal and Kayes will start day five of the test match at 273/0 with unbeaten 138 and 132 runs to their names respectively.
