Kim appreciates Pakistan government for financially supporting Waseem

WBC Silverflyweight Champion, Muhammad Waseem’s promoter Andy Kim has appreciated the efforts of Pakistan government for providing financial support to the future WBC World Champion.

“I would like to show my sincere appreciation for the Pakistan Government for showing their financial support for their boxing hero and soon to be boxing world champion Muhammad Waseem,” Andy Kim told ARY Sports.


After receiving $230,607.47 from government of Pakistan, Andy Kim plans to start Waseem’s training again for the world title eliminator. A victory in the fight will earn the Silver Flyweight Champion a world title shot.

“I have an immediate plan mapped out to get Waseem active again and then to host a final world title eliminator featuring Waseem,” he said. “A victory by Waseem in the final eliminator will make his next fight a world title fight.”

Kim is extremely confident for Waseem that he will win the eliminator and will go on to win the World Championship bout to make his country proud.

“I have no doubt that Waseem will come out victorious and the country of Pakistan  will always support him to bring more glory for his country and I look forward to host historic world title fight for Pakistan’s Muhammad Waseem,” he went on to say.

Andy Kim is proud of the Pakistani pugilist, Mohammad ‘Falcon’ Waseem, he thanked him for his dedication and effort. Moreover, he thanked the WBC President for showing constant support for the talented boxer.

“I would also like to thank Waseem for his excellent talent and effort, and lastly the WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman for his unconditional trust and support,” he concluded.
