RAJKOT:  Indian skipper, Virat Kohli has an absolutely glorious career so far, he has achieved a number feats on which he should be proud of. But, his recent achievement as an Indian player is a bizarre one.

The 28-year got 40 runs in the first test match of the series against England, he got out hit-wicket on the fourth day of the test and became the first Indian to get out in this fashion in the last 14 years.

The Indian run-machine was looking to pull Adil Rasheed when his foot touch the stumps and dislodged the bail.

India’s prolific batsman VVS Laxman was the last Indian batsman to get out hit-wicket in 2002 against West Indies.

Moreover, Kohli became the first Indian skipper to be dismissed in this unorthodox manner after Lala Amarnath, who lost his wicket in a similar way back in 1949 in Chennai against West Indies.
