KP names Multan Cricket Stadium as one of his least favorite venues


Recently, Kevin Pietersen caused fair bit of stir when he named his ten favorite cricket grounds on Twitter during a question and answer session and he didn’t mention Lord’s in them.

The former English batting star, once again held a question and answer session on the social media website, where a fan asked him about his ten least favorite grounds of the world.

The South African born English cricketer didn’t hesitate in answering the question and he also mentioned Multan Cricket Stadium as one of his least favorite grounds in the world.

  He also revealed his eleventh least favorite ground.

The 35-year old English cricketer had a forgettable time at the Multan Cricket Stadium during his only test at the venue.

The game played during England 2005-06 tour to Pakistan, Pietersen could only score 5 runs in the first innings before Danish Kaneria dismissed him and in the second innings he was removed by Mohammad Sami at an individual score of 19 runs.

Pakistan won the test match by 22 runs. The hosts scored 274 runs batting first after winning the toss. England batted well and accumulated a lead of 144 runs, scoring 418 runs in their innings.

Pakistan made an impressive comeback and posted a target of 197 runs and rattled English batting line on just 174 runs.

Salman Butt was named the man of the match award for his 74 and 122 runs in the two innings of the test match respectively.
