KPL will unearth talented cricketers in Kashmir: Chairman Senate


ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate, Sadiq Sanjrani believes that Kashmir Premier League (KPL) will help to find talented cricketers in that region. 

Sanjrani met Muzaffarabad Tigers’ chairman Arshad Khan Tanoli here on Friday. In a cricket-friendly meeting, they both discussed the future of the upcoming franchise league, KPL.

Tanoli told Sajnrani about the roadmap of finding out the hidden talent in Kashmir and grooming them for higher-level cricket. Sanjrani praised KPL’s management and expressed high hopes for a successful inaugural season of the event.

“KPL is a great initiative to find out the hidden talent in Kashmir. I am hopeful that this league will provide a platform for youngsters in Kashmir to showcase their talent,” he said.

“KPL will take Kashmir to a higher-level cricket map very soon,” he added.

On the other hand, Tanoli shared that he has plans to build a cricket academy in Muzaffarabad.
