Lahore’s Civil court stops Ashfaq group to withdraw PFF funds

LAHORE: Lahore’s Civil court bench headed by Ghulam Mustafa stopped the Ashfaq Hussain group from withdrawing Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) funds.

According to the decision, Ashfaq and his team, who forcefully took charge of PFF from the FIFA-installed Normalisation Committee (NC), will not be allowed to draw any money from PFF’s accounts.

It must be noted here that FIFA put a ban on Pakistan football after the Ashfaq group took charge of the PFF house from NC’s chariman, Haroon Malik. It will only be lifted when the possession of the PFF HQs along with PFF accounts and assets are handed over back to the NC.
