Lamichanne replaces Rashid in Lahore Qalandars’ squad


Karachi: Nepalese leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichanne has been drafted in Lahore Qaalndars’ squad as a replacement of Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan for the remainder of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season six.

The 20-year-old Lamichanne made his PSL debut in the 2019 edition and played seven matches for Lahore Qalandars.

Note, Rashid had to leave PSL as his country is scheduled to play Test series against Zimbabwe. Rashid featured in two matches against Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi, which Qalandars won by four and nine wickets, respectively
