Pakistan’s left-arm pacer Junaid Khan has been signed by English County side Lancashire for the NatWest T20 Blast in the upcoming summer.

The club has previously utilized his services during 2011 and 2014 seasons, where he hunted 12 and 19 batsmen respectively in the T20 tournament.

Club’s website quoted Junaid Khan saying, “I thoroughly enjoyed both my spells at the Emirates Old Trafford and I’m looking forward to linking up with the squad later this summer.”

“The experiences I gained in those [previous] years have enhanced my performance and my ability to swing and seam when bowling. The different climate conditions have also strengthened me as player and hopefully this year I can give something back, both on and off the field.”

On the other hand, Lancashire’s head coach is happy to have the 27-year old Pakistani pacer in the ranks, “We’re delighted to bring Junaid back to Emirates Old Trafford following two very successful spells with the Club.”
