Lahore High Court (LHC) has directed FIA to remove fast bowler Mohammad Irfan’s name from the Exit Control List after hearing his petition.
Earlier, Mohammad Irfan has filed a petition in Lahore HIgh Court seeking removal of his name from Exit Control List (ECL)
In the petition filed by Irfan, he has said that he has never done any activity that could compromise the dignity of his country yet he has to face six months ban by PCB.
It is pertinent to mention that six months suspension has already ended in September 2017 and he is already playing in ongoing Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2017-2018.
Despite being cleared of all the charges, but his name is still not removed from the ECL. Irfan pleaded the court to order concerned authorities to remove his name from ECL so that he could travel to Saudia Arabia to perform Umrah.
After the spot-fixing scandal in PSL 2017 Federal Investigative Agency (FIA) has requested Ministry of Interior to place the name of different players in ECL including Mohammad Irfan.
