The Lahore High Court (LHC) has issued orders to remove cricketer Sharjeel Khan’s name from Exit Control List (ECL), ARY News reported.
According to the lawyer of Sharjeel, they have submitted a plea in LHC for removing the cricketer’s name from ECL. It must be noted here that the left-handed batsman was stopped at Karachi airport when he reached there to leave for Saudia Arabia to perform Umrah.
Earlier, the federal government put his name in ECL after he was found guilty of match-fixing during the second edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in 2017.
Sharjeel, who had served two years ban from all forms of cricket, has started the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s rehabilitation program. He is expected to play the upcoming edition of the PSL in 2020.
