Barcelona defender Adriano is confident that Lionel Messi will be fit for the El Clasico which is scheduled to take place at the Bernabeu on the 21st of November. Meesi is a key player of the Catalan side and his absence will be a sever blow to Barcelona’s chances against the Los Blancos. Although Suarez and Neymar have performed really well and led the team from the front in great fashion but Messi’s presence could make the difference.
Adriano while talking to Mundo Deportivo gave out his views on Messi’s fitness and the team in general.
“He is recovering very well, doing everything to get to the game and to have him in the team changes a lot,” he told
“There’s a difference when he plays or doesn’t, but in his absence we’ve managed to come together and move forward in matches.
“Every day he’s been the Leo we’re accustomed to: laughing, joking, and doing things with confidence.
“Would I put money on him playing in the Clasico? Hopefully, yes.”
The El Clasico is the 171st encounter in La Liga between the two Spanish giants and Real Madrid are ahead on the head to head comparison with 71 wins as compared to 67 wins for Barcelona whereas 32 matches ended in a draw.
