The day has arrived, Super 10 round of World T20 is about to kick off. The aggressive Kiwis under their calm skipper, Kane Williamson are all set to take on the in-form hosts, India in their home ground. Both the teams have breathtaking performers in their lineups.

New Zealand has an upper hand over India in the shortest form of the game. But, its a new day and a new, plus, India is dominating their opponents for the past 10 T20 internationals or so. India is favorite to win the contest, but, you cannot write off the Blackcaps completely.

Game over! Milne bowled Ashish Nehra on the first delivery of the over. New Zealand has pulled off the miraculous victory here. What a start of the tournament for Kiwis, whereas, what a turn around for the side who was coined as the favorites to win the World T20.

Dhoni perished, he was the lone warrior, had no choice other than to have a go at everything. He came down the track to tried to hit a six, McCullum took a good catch.

Dhoni is charging it on now, struck Sodhi for a straight six on the first delivery of the over, but Sodhi made a strong comeback, he has provided the much needed breakthrough. Ashwin came down the track and missed the ball, another dismissal for Ronchi in the match.

Ravindra Jadeja bites the dust as well! This is something unreal for the rock solid batting lineup of India. A leading edge of Jadeja caught by the bowler himself, a good catch as well.

Santner got another one, Pandya caught in front of the wicket by the slow left-arm, India in big trouble now. Dhoni, the savior is still at the crease.

A huge wicket for New Zealand here! Virat Kohli edged the first delivery of Ish Sodhi to Ronchi. New Zealand is in the front seat now!

At the end of 9 overs, score is 41/5

Kiwi bowlers keeping it tight.

A fast and furious over by Adam Milne, tested the Indian pair with his pace.

A good over by Grant Elliot, three singles.

A full delivery from Nathan McCullum and Yuvraj Singh played it straight back to him, an easy catch for him. Umpires consult the third umpire for the bump ball, but, It was clean. The game in an interesting phase now. MS Dhoni to the rescue!

Rohit Sharma stumped! The slow left arm spinner came and deceived Sharma with his spin, easy stumping for Ronchi. Suresh Raina came in and perished, Santner bowled a slow delivery, Raina was playing it from the hips but close the face of the bat too early, an easy catch at midwicket.

A good over by Corey Anderson, didn’t give anything away.

At the end of 2 overs, score is 10/1

Shikhar Dhawan fell early, he was trying to play a sweep across the line but missed, the ball struck his pad and umpire liked the appeal.

A good over for New Zealand to end the over. Although, the score is not competitive enough, but, the momentum may have somewhat swung towards the Blackcaps. India needs 127 runs in 20 overs. Indian batting lineup seems quite capable of chasing that target quite easily.

New Zealand is nowhere near a competitive total till the penultimate over.

At the end of 19 overs, score is 111/6

Bumrah seems impossible to score against, accuracy at its best!

At the end of 18 overs, score is 103/6

Jadeja removed Santner after conceding a boundary off him. A fast delivery from Jadeja that spun was edged by Santner while trying to play a pull shot. Ronchi in crease now.

At the end of 17 overs, score is

Excellent over by Bumrah, bowled pin pointed yorkers, got rid of Anderson with a perfect delivery.

At the end of 16 overs, score is 90/5

A productive over for New Zealand, Santner and Anderson are looking to play some shots now.

At the end of 15 overs, score is 88/4

A brilliant over by Raina.

At the end of 14 overs, score is 78/4

A long over by Jadeja finally came to an end. He bowled two wides and bowl all deliveries on the leg stump.

At the end of 13 overs, score is 75/4

Absolutely brilliant work from Suresh Raina on his own bowling to run Ross Taylor out. Anderson played it straigh, Raina dived to stop the ball and threw the ball on the stumps in a jiffy.

At the end of 12 overs, score is 63/4

New Zealand needs to accelerate now.

At the end of 11 overs, score is 59/3

A delicate late cut from Ross Taylor earned him a boundary. R Ashwin has bowled out his spell of 4 overs. He took one wicket for 32 runs.

Seven runs in Raina’s over without any risky shot.

At the end of 9 overs, score is 49/3

A boundary off Bumrah’s over, Anderson chose area straight over the bowler’s head for a boundary.

New Zealand’s Mr. Reliable, Kane Williamson lost his wicket, he left his crease against Raina for a substantial stroke, but missed a fast delivery from the off-spinner, Dhoni did the rest with ease. Kiwis are struggling here. Ross Taylor is the new batsman.

A good over for New Zealand, Corey Anderson exhibited his striking skills during Ashiwn’s over for two boundaries.

Colin Munro arrived and struck a switch hit on the second delivery he faced for a huge six! What an eventful start of the over.

And it Guptil started the proceedings with a straight six, first ball first six. But, he lost his wicket on the next ball, Ashiwn trapped him in front of the stumps. Another poor show of umpiring, the ball was missing the stumps.
