Mohammad Amir comes into bowling the first over
Kings’ Imad Wasim had won the toss and decided to bowl first against Sultans in the 19th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 5 at Gaddafi Stadium on Friday.
“We are going to bowl first as the pitch looks good to bat on due factor, later on, will help us chase the target. We will try to restrict them with having a strong bowling combination,” Imad said after winning the toss.
Multan Sultans’ skipper Shan Masood is confident to retain the top position on the points table. “Had we won the toss, we would have decided to bowl first too. Rain is there which might hurt the game so bowling here would have given some advantage. Unfortunately, toss is not in your hands but we will try to post a strong total on the scoreboard,” he said.
Kings have made just a change as they called up Mitchel McClenaghan in place of Cameron Delport. Sultans have brought in Ravi Bopara and Shahid Afridi.
